Beautiful shoes, fit not perfect

I’ve never ordered custom shoes before, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The quality is outstanding. They seem strong and sturdy even though they’re lightweight and flexible. They fit my almost-six-year-old from toe to heel perfectly, but the strap is too tight. The riveted snap isn’t adjustable and while they’re not so tight they’re popping open, they’re also not as comfortable as they could be. My daughter loves how they look so she’s putting up with the bit of pinching. hopefully they’ll break in and stretch. If they don’t I may remove the rivet on the strap and move it down the strap a bit. But I didn’t count on having to DIY a good fit on shoes I spent $80 on, and that will only fit for six months tops. An adjustable strap would be great, or a measurement of foot volume.
